7 Legendary masters in their own respective specialty were put together to come up with the NEW MENU for Botejyu Philippines. Masahito Ito, Ramen Samurai Iron Chef is a Ramen Noodle Specialist and is the Head Chef of Sapporo Nishiyama Ramen in Japan and Singapore. Sushi Roll Samurai Iron Chef is Shuichiro Kukuchi who is the owner of California Rolls Uramakiya in Akasaka, Tokyo. He is also the chairman of Japan Uramaki Association. His expertise in sushi rolls is sharpened by his experience in working with Shishi-Mon in Las Vegas, Shiki in Sydney, Samurai in Zurich, Matsuhisa in Athens, Matsuhisa in Mykonos and Nobu in St. Moritz.
Tempura Samurai Iron Chef, Takayuki Osanai, is a consistent Michelin Star awardee for 12 consecutive years since 2012. He is the owner chef of Sanai since 2025. He masters the art of creating a perfect balance of crunch and tenderness of Tempura on every bite. The fifth-generation head chef, Satoshi Sasaki is the Teppanyaki/Okos Samurai Iron Chef who showcased his talent and techniques in crafting modern teppanyaki dishes. He is a recipient of various awards in Japan such as Public Store Review in 2019, Popular Business Award and Made in Osaka for 2020.
Yoshihito Iwamoto is the Donburi Samurai Iron Chef that captivate the senses and redefine culinary boundaries-that promise to excite taste buds and ignite culinary passions. He is the owner chef of Osaka Koraibashi Kitcho. An Executive Chef of Kurita in Osaka, a member of Chef’s National Qualification and food coordinator in Food Coordinators Association of Japan is the Onigiri Samurai Iron Chef. Bringing in one of the most famous staples in Japan with its unique variation that shows authenticity and traditional preparation of his featured dishes.
The 7 Samurai Iron Chef will not be complete without the Creative Samurai Iron Chef, Hiro Yamada. An executive chef of Basta Hiro, the first chef leading the Italian food bloon in Japan. He was also the executive chef of Ristorante Hiro and was awarded as the “Most Promising Chef of the Year” by an Italian culinary Magazine (Gambero Rosso). He is also the owner chef of Infinito Hiro. His vast experience also covers serving in the Okinawa G8 Summit, being the personal Chef to Italian Prime Minister Amato. He was one of the delegates of San Sebastian Gastronomy. In 2013, he beated Kenichi Chen and the undefeated Chinese Iron Chef Tomotsugu Wakiya on the revived “Iron Chef”.
