'The Revelation' movie thrills, chills

Director RayAn Dulay's "The Revelation" is the kind of movie that will have viewers on the edge of their seats by the time the credits roll.

It's not a perfect movie but satisfies enough on strength of the fresh combination of the cast led by Aljur Abrenica, Vin Abrenica, Ana Jalandoni and Jelai Andres. Each gives it his all in the character one plays and surely they will only get better as they hone their craft. Of the thriller genre, "The Revelation" is about a serial killer being tracked down by the authorities. So, we see that the serial needed to be charismatic, the victim must be tempting as cheese, the other cop must be adept, and the boss must be such a determined cat to catch the mouse, so to speak---these were needed, and the same were given.

Actually, "The Revelation" reminds us of several thriller movies on Netflix these days, particularly those coming from neighboring Asian countries. It seems Dulay's vision for the film is to be at par with these?
