The signing of their respective contracts was formally done May 18 at the Sofitel Hotel. It was graced by other known personalities and firms in real estate development such as Palafox Associates and FCLaranang Development Corporation.
JOMOO Philippines' partnership with Puerto de San Juan Residences bids to create a legacy in San Juan, La Union by establishing an "exquisite, elegant, yet sustainable and environmental-friendly home for tourists."
As for Mariposa Mews, the company specializes in green and sustainable construction. With its current development site in north of Greenhills, Mariposa Mews uses for its materials the eco-friendly Autoclaved Aereted Concrete, mainly made of recycled materials, instead of traditional hollow blocks. This minimizes the use of cement and water, thereby reducing carbon emission by 50 pecent.
Moreover, its building practice mainly focuses on mitigating and avoiding environmental harm by ensuring fresh air filtration and eco-friendly insulation, non-use of volatile organic compoounds (VOC) to eliminate harmful chemicals in the construction materials, as well as the application low impact of air conditioning.
