Artiste Musaeum welcomes every culture and art enthusiast to a
three-day event featuring a series of exhibit tours, demos, guest appearances
by international experts, potential MOA signings, and more. Titled “CURIOS”,
the event highlights the extensive and prized collections of Anthony V. Gedang,
better known as Tonet Gedang. It will take place on March 25 to 27, 2022, from
9:00 AM to 9:00 PM at Celebrity Sports Plaza in Quezon City.
The event commences at 10 AM on March 25, with a ribbon-cutting
ceremony led by Dr. Gerardo Lozano Arredondo, the Mexican Ambassador to the
Philippines. There will also be opening remarks, discussions, and MOA signings
with various organizations including Artiste Entertainment Inc./ Museum (For
Culture, Arts, and Travel), Philippine Chamber of Commerce, Inc. - QC (For
Business and Travel), and International Council of Museum - PH (For Museum,
Culture, and Arts).Anthony leads ribbon-cutting ceremony at Celebrity Sports Plaza on March 25, 2022 The second day of the event kicks off with Kids Club Tour at 9
AM. Here, youngsters can enjoy a fun selection of activities such as Sports
Stations, Exhibit Tour, and Film Showing. Filipino artist Juan Llaga will
demonstrate his landscape penjing and bonsai skills at 10 AM, to be followed by
an orientation with Philippine Bonsai Society Inc.’s Ms. Yumie Gupit and another
bonsai demo by Mr. Romy Dino at 1 PM.
The National Stone Society of the Philippines, simply known as
NSSP, takes the center stage on March 27. NSSP President Tonet Gedang will give
his welcome remarks at 9 AM, followed by greetings from international friends,
general members’ meeting proper, a series of demos, lectures, and workshops,
bonseki arrangement, and artificial Dazia making. From 1 PM onwards, Tonet
Gedang will lead a garden tour as the event’s conclusion. Anthony with Amb. Dr. Gerardo Lozano Arredondo Aside from the aforementioned activities, guests will find
themselves looking forward to the collaboration with the Mexican Embassy and
Dr. Arredondo, the Mexican Ambassador to the Philippines. As a key part of this
three-day event, the collab sheds light on the allure of Mexican Culture &
Arts, Business Opportunities, and Travels with Dr. Arredondo.
Forefronted by Artiste Entertainment Inc. along with
art-centered movements like Bonsai PH and Suiseki PH, Artiste Musaeum is a
physical and virtual space that showcases the collections of Tonet Gedang,
spanning a wide spectrum of cultural materials from different parts of the
globe. It is part of the International Council of Museums (ICOM), which is home to over 10,000 artworks
including relics, tribal arts, books, and artifacts. The museum aims to inspire
a greater sense of cultural appreciation by studying, interpreting, conserving,
and exhibiting every piece in Mr. Gedang’s gallery.
Over the course of three days, guests can be confident that
their safety is an utmost priority, as Celebrity Sports Plaza fully complies
