Ever wondered what celebrities do before they dip their finger into business? Some of them turn to Dr. Michael Maranan.

Jay Manalo vouched for the business mentor's acumen at the latter's book launch. The actor has been with friends with Mike after signing up to endorse one of his products last year.

"Magaling tong taong to," Jay lauded.

The actor is thinking of going into the food business and this is where Mike comes in.

"Madaming celebrity na kahit may pera, hindi nila alam ang gagawin kaya or di nila alam ang business na bagay sa kanila. Kaya, in the end, nalulugi at nagsasara din ang negosyo nila," the mentor said in a separate interview. "Mabuti yung may guidance at matuto sa pagkakamali ng iba para maiwasan."

Fortunately, those who aren't able to seek his advice personally, can glean valuable knowledge and wisdom from his books. These are  "From Eight to Infinity: Secret Stories and Lessons from the Life of Dr. Mike Maranan," "Confessions of a Licensed Customs Broker," "The Business That Fits You" and "Ang Negosyong Swak Sa Yo."

Mike believes knowledge should be practical, accessible, and immediately applicable. This philosophy serves as the foundation of his books, where readers learn not only the theories but also real-life experiences, lessons, and strategies that they can apply in business, career, and everyday life.

Aside from business, Jay and Mike also talk about spirituality. The actor has been reading the Bible more than usual lately as encouraged by the mentor.

In addition to the book launch, the event also feature the official introduction of selected 88 WeServe products under Mike's companies.
