Get ready for the newest mystery-crime thriller that many have long been waiting for!
Viva One and CignalPlay proudly bring us the series adaptation of the hit Wattpad Webnovel series by AkoSiIbarra with over 93million reads. The QED Club is ready to investigate in Project Loki streaming on Viva One and CignalPlay starting February 21, 2026.
The beloved characters from the story written by Rheinlander C. Musni, also known as AkoSiIbarra, are finally coming to life as Project Loki premieres in just a few weeks!
Starring Dylan Menor and Jayda Avanzado together with Marco Gallo, Yumi Garcia, and Martin Venegas, Project Loki follows Lorelei and Loki as they investigate a series of unsettling incidents at Clark University.
As the cases grow more complex, Lorelei meets Luthor, the university’s Student Council Vice President and Loki’s older brother. With secrets beginning to surface, the duo joins forces with Jamie and Alistair, using their combined intellect to uncover the truth behind Clark U’s darkest mysteries.as the other members of the QED Club, as they uncover and solve cases, conduct investigations, and reveal crimes and mysterious events.
Director Xian Lim shared his intentions for the project, "We will do to the best of our abilities… we will give justice to this series… masterpiece na ginawa ni Akosiibarra," (We will do to the best of our abilities… we will give justice to this series… this masterpiece that Akosiibarra has created), Xian said during the cast reveal and story conference held in October at Viva Cafe.
Xian consulted and closely collaborated with the book’s author, Akosiibarra, regarding the direction of the series and the appearance of the characters.
"On our part, in collaboration, of course, with director Xian Lim, talagang binabantayan namin hindi lang yung visuals nila… peroyung pinakaimportante ay kung paano sila magsalita, manamit, at kumilos," (On our part, in collaboration, of course, with director Xian Lim, we closely monitor not only their visuals, but more importantly how they speak, dress, and move), said Akosiibarra.
The author of the book also promised that the adaptation will remain faithful to what followers read on Wattpad. He shares, “Kung anoyung nabasa niyo sa book, malapit doon o yung mismo ang inyongaabangan sa adaptation na ito.” (What you read in the book is close to or exactly what you can expect to see in this adaptation.)
The entire cast of the series is also excited to bring their characters to life.
“Something unique about Project Loki is, even though meron siyang kaunting delulu moments, natutuwa ako sa mga shippers online ng ‘Loreki’ at ng ‘Lorethor,’ so excited ako to play up those scenes,” (Something unique about Project Loki is that even though it has ‘delulu’ moments, I enjoy seeing the online shippers of ‘Loreki’ and ‘Lorethor,’ so I’m excited to play up those scenes), Jayda shares when asked which scenes she is most looking forward to filming. She will play Lorelei, the newest member of the QED Club, who will play a big part in solving crimes.
Dylan Menor also shared what similarities he has with his character, Loki, the main protagonist of the series. “Lumalabasdin naman yung pagiging nonchalant ko, pagiging mysterious… yun yung pwede kong paghugutan sa character ko para mas mabigyan ko ng justice at ma-portray ko nang maayos si Loki Mendez.” (My nonchalant and mysterious side comes out… that’s what I can draw on from my personality to do justice to my character and portray Loki Mendez properly.)
Marco Gallo, on the other hand, expresses his mixed emotions in playing as the older brother and a character with a similar personality to Loki, Luthor, Marco shares, "I'm excited to do it, but then I'm scared at the same time because it's something new… you're like dipping your feet into new waters, and hopefully on set we're gonna be able to do it."
Other cast members also expressed excitement, joy, and even shared a little teaser.
"You will love me, hate me… and love me again, but one thing's for sure, you will never forget me," said Yumi Garcia about her role as Jamie, a drama club actress with a photographic memory.
There’s also a mix of pressure and excitement for Martin Venegas in playing Lorelei’s best friend, Alistair, "Yung transition from romcom to thriller nakaka-pressure siya kasi ibang genre siya compared sapinanggalingan ko, at same time I'm excited kasi hindi na siyaromcom, more on mystery na to eh… it's very exciting." (The transition from romcom to thriller is filled with pressure because it’s a different genre from what I used to do, but at the same time, I’m excited because it’s no longer a romcom, it’s more of a mystery now… it’s very exciting.)
The cast may show their excitement in different ways, but all are ready and prepared to share with everyone what they have to offer in the newest series.
