INNERVOICES MAKES THE HOLIDAYS TWICE AS MEANINGFUL WITH “PASKO SA ATING PUSO," “PASKO’Y MULING DARATING”

Pop rock band InnerVoices is lighting up the Christmas season with two heartfelt original releases that capture both the warmth and depth of the Filipino holiday spirit.

The band unveils “Pasko sa Ating Puso,” released under ABS-CBN Music, and “Pasko’y Muling Darating,” under UMG Philippines.

​“Pasko sa Ating Puso” is written and composed by Rey Roland Bergado, arranged by Edward Mitra, and produced by Kalesa Entertainment Production. The track is a celebration of everything that makes Christmas in the Philippines uniquely joyous—twinkling lights, laughter shared at the dinner table, colorful parols dancing in the wind, and the enduring spirit of gratitude and unity. It carries a classic, warm, family-centered energy that echoes the magic of Filipino Christmases across generations.

​In contrast, “Pasko’y Muling Darating,” also written and composed by Bergado and arranged by Mitra, leans into the emotional side of the season. It acknowledges quiet nights, heavy hearts, and the lingering ache of difficult memories—but lifts listeners toward hope. The song is a reminder that Christmas always returns with healing, light, and the promise of better days.

​Both releases showcase InnerVoices at their most sincere. The band—Patrick Marcelino (vocals), Joseph Cruz (keyboards), Rene Tecson (guitars), Alvin Herbon (bass), Jojo Esparrago (drums), and Rey Bergado (keyboards)—brings warmth, depth, and a lived-in musicality that make these tracks resonate across age groups and life stories.

Founding member Bergado reflects on the meaning behind releasing two Christmas tracks this year:

​“Hindi lahat pareho ang nararamdaman pagdating ng Pasko. May nagdiriwang, may nagpapagaling. With these two songs, we wanted to honor both experiences. ‘Pasko sa Ating Puso’ is a celebration of joy and connection, while ‘Pasko’y Muling Darating’ is a gentle reminder of hope. Magkaibang himig, pero parehong totoo.”
