Fired up by its staggering seven-trophy win for the movie "MAMAY: A Journey to Greatness" at the recent 73rd FAMAS Awards, Nunungan Mayor Marcos Mamay announced more projects ahead.

At a press conference, it was announced that Mamay Productions will bankroll concerts, MTV projects, a coffee table book, and the films "One Life to Leave," "Babae sa Salamin," "OFW" and "48 Hours in Hell."

Asked about the success of his biopic, the producer and public servant was all smiles.

“This award is not just for me, but for the people who believed in my story and in the power of second chances. My journey was never easy—from humble beginnings, hardships, and struggles—but I embraced every challenge with faith and determination."

"Mamay" won Best Supporting Actor fot Jeric Raval, Best Production Design for Cyrus Khan, Best Cinematography for Gilbert Obispo, Best Musical Score for Neal “Buboy” Tan, Best Original Song for “Hamon” by Gerald Santos (composed by Vehnee Saturno), Film Producer of the Year for Mamay Productions and Presidential Awardee for Marcos Mamay.

“This movie is a reminder that no dream is too big, and no obstacle is too strong when you never give up. MAMAY: A Journey to Greatness is not just about my life, it is about hope, perseverance, and the belief that greatness comes from serving others," Mamay added.

Raval who, of course, attended the Thanksgiving Party, still could hardly believe he won despite formidable competition.

“It’s humbling to be honored by FAMAS after so many years in the industry. This role challenged me in ways I didn’t expect, and I’m proud to be part of a film that inspires," the actor said.

Tan, who helmed the movie, went kilometric expressing gratitude for the favorable turnout.

“We poured our hearts into this project, and every award is a reminder that Filipino talent—whether in Manila or the regions—can achieve greatness. I’m grateful to the cast, crew, and especially Mayor Mamay, who is the inspiration behind this story.

Asked why he scored the movie musically as well, the director gave pragmatic response.

"Dahil ako mismo ang sumulat at nagdirehe, mas dama ko ang pulso at emosyon ng bawat eksena, kaya mas naging personal ang bawat nota," he said.

Mamay dedicated his Presidential Awardee and Producer of the Year recognitions to the people of Lanao del Norte.

"Our stories matter, and our victory proves they deserve to be seen and celebrated," the public servant side.

Aside from Raval, "Mamay" starred Ara Mina, Teejay Marquez, Polo Ravales, Ali Forbes, Victor Neri, Julio Diaz, Sabrina M, Devon Seron, Ron Angeles,
Jethro Ramirez, Alvin Fortuna, Dennis Coronel, Shiela Delgado, Baby F. Go, John Arcenas, Via Veloso, Katrina Paula, Toni Co, Tonz Are, EJ Malik, Dan Mabano, and more.

The movie was line produced by Shiela Torres Lintan.
