Beautederm Ceo and President Rhea Anicoche Tan is now also President of Rotary Club of Balibago.
The Induction and Turn-Over Ceremony was held July 18 at Hilton Clark Sun Valley Resort in Angeles, Pampanga.
Hitting the ground running, she bared the first three projects under her term.
First is dubbed "Rise up, Glow up" project for which the Rotary Club of Balibago in partnership with BeauteHaus will give 20 college students free skin services and products.
"Dahil ang problema ngayon, mental health issues at kasama dun ang skin problem, nawawalan sila ng self-confidence," she explained.
Next is "Yes to Love." Rhea recalled that during the pandemic, she sacrificed some of her possessions in order to be able to assist thousands of frontliners.
This time, she pledged to give five pesos for every Beautederm product sold from participating branches namely Beautederm headquarters, SM Baguio, SM Clark and Marquee Mall. She will work to enjoin franchisees including those in Visayas and Mindanao.
The money will go to the End Polio Now campaign of the Rotary Club.
Finally, Tan said their chapter will send 50 Kapampangans to school until they finish 4th year college.
Actually, this is just an expansion of her long-time advocacy. She already has 50 scholars under her wings in Ilocos Sur, even as she bankrolls the schooling of the children of all Beautederm employees (up to the third child or if childless, the siblings avail the benefit).
Tan encouraged everyone to use their "privilege, voice and success" to benefit others.
"When we are granted to sit at the table, let others sit beside you. Advocate for and beside them," she said.
"Don't leave anyone out---everyone belongs to everyone."
Adding glitz and glamor to the ceremony were the attendance and even performances by several Beautederm celebrity ambassadors including Piolo Pascual, Vice Governor Ejay Falconn, Kakai Bautista, Councilor Ervic Vijandre and Josh Ford.
