Viewers at Power Plant Mall cinemas were surprised to find themselves face-to-face with Dingdong Dantes and Charo Santos, the stars of the movie they just watched "Only We Know."

At the special block screening, Manila Hearing Aid President Dr. Liza Abano-Robles said her daughter, Rafa, and Dingdong's, Zia, are friends. She also revealed that he used to send over meals to them during the pandemic.

"We are here to celebrate film and the power of cinema to bring people together," she explained "This is not just about watching a movie but sharing an experience and a good story."

"Only We Know" tells the story of Betty (Charo) and Ryan (Dingdong), two wounded souls that navigate the type of special relationship they have as they develop an intimate bond with one another.

Dingdong said that the role is now "one of my favorites out of all I've done," while Charo remarked it took seven years for the bittersweet journey of the characters to unfold on the silver screen.

"It is a story about love, however you want to define it. Love between two people - no labels. We learned how not to be afraid to go with the flow. It was about finding love in each other. It is only Betty and Ryan who can define the beautiful kind of relationship that they have," shared Charo in a previous interview.

Dingdong added: “It's also a story about redefining labels. What's interesting about this film is that it will break down the meaning of labels, 'Do we still need a label for this kind of beautiful association or whatever we call what we have?'"

"Only We Know" is written and directed by Irene Emma Villamor for Cornerstone Studios, AgostoDos Pictures, Star Cinema, and 7K Entertainment.

The other cast members are Shamaine Buencamino, Joel Saracho, Al Tantay, Max Collins, Soliman Cruz, Isabel Oli, Johnny Revilla, Rafa Siguion Reyna, Yesh Burce, and Gil Cuerva
