Zsa Zsa jazzes up her hits

MUSIC critics are in agreement that Zsa Zsa Padilla never runs out of creative ways to always re-invent her timeless hits.

Zsa Zsa is known for being adventurous enough in consistently giving her songs a fresh take.

In her recent milestone concert “Through The Years,” Zsa Zsa opened with “Kahit Na” and “Point Of No Return.”

In stark contrast with “Kahit Na” which she performed live almost the way it was originally recorded, her take on “Point Of No Return” made a slight detour from the song’s funk beats serving it in a more contemporary sound while maintaining the grit and swag that made people fall in love with it.

Another notable reimagination is “Mambobola.” Zsa Zsa beloved 80s dance hit have seen many incarnations from disco to bossa and recently, it took a European turn as it was set against the musical backdrop of the classic Spanish fiesta with big a band Latin beat.

And the concert’s title track “Through The Years” took a more sublime and subtle form.

Zsa Zsa’s emotionally charged vocal performance was enough to ignite all the right feelings as fitting finale for the concert — admiration, awe, respect, and ultimately, love for the Divine Diva.
