The country’s premier drag club levels-up with a bigger, more dazzling location at the heart of Tomas Morato, QC
Since its grand opening in the first quarter of 2024, Rampa has been passionately loyal to its commitment to provide the community a safe and open space for self-expression.
With Philippine LGBTQ+ icons and allies such as RS Francisco, Cecille Bravo, Ice Seguerra, and Boy Abunda joining forces with Divine Divas Precious Paula Nicole, Brigiding, and Vinas Deluxe, Rampa has consistently delivered one fierce party after the other, delivering a powerful message of unity and creative freedom with the fabulous pomp and pageantry of drag as the central unifying element that binds together the venue’s over-the-top fun.
Today, with much hard work and dedication, Rampa is acknowledged as the home of the country’s new breed of young drag artists collectively known as Rampa Reynas, backed-up every night with the venue’s homegrown dancers, the Rampa Movers. The awe-inspiring talent of Rampa’s artists gained immense praise not only from the community and the Philippine press but also by international news organizations such as The New York Times and even international celebrities like Lady Gaga who took notice of Precious Paula Nicole’s performance of her smash hit dance single “Abracadabra.”
And the party continues with Rampa’s grand reopening on May 24, which is predicted to be one of the hottest LGBTQ+ parties in the Metro this season!
Titled Moulin Rouge: The Musicale, the event will feature performances by Popstar Bench, Khianna, Angel, and Zymba Ding with Rampa Reynas Katana, Kiari, Khiendra, Kieffy Nicole, Neenja, Asha Sole, Eliza, Abigail, Mz. Chronicles, Budalyn, Tiffany, and Eyyygatha, with the Rampa Movers and special guest appearances by the Divine Divas and other surprise guests.
The party kicks-off at the even’s red carpet at 11:00 p.m. followed by a pre-show leading to the main show; the second set, Coachella 2025; and the after party.
“We are so grateful for the overwhelming support from the community and our allies,” says RS Francisco. “Rampa is the fulfilment of our vision to create a space that will allow creative expression and freedom to be one’s self. The art of drag has entered the mainstream – we are on TV, in film, and on the live stage. I’m hopeful to see to where this will lead the community. And one thing is for sure, the parties in Rampa will definitely continue.”
With its gigantic 630 sqm floor area, Rampa boasts of a bigger, more comfortable capacity to better serve the growing demand of the LGBTQ+ community for quality leisure venues – solidifying its position as an leader in Manila’s queer nightlife.
