THE Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) conducted a Psychoeducation Seminar on Monday, May 26, aimed at promoting mental health awareness, reducing stigma and workplace productivity among its employees.
This is part of the continuous efforts of the Board under the leadership of Chairperson and CEO Lala Sotto-Antonio, to prioritize the health and well-being of its workforce.
The training was facilitated by Pat Ramirez, a registered psychometrician, who discussed key topics such as mental health awareness, stress management and relevant legal and policy frameworks.
Sotto-Antonio emphasized the significance of mental health in order to provide efficient public service.
“Caring for the mental health of our employees reflects the Agency’s belief that public service begins from within,” said Sotto-Antonio. “We believe that workers who are emotionally and mentally healthy are better equipped to provide professional and emphatic service to our stakeholders.”
This program shows the Board’s dedication to foster a happy and mentally healthy work environment, in keeping with its broader mission of serving the public, protecting the Filipino family especially the children and promoting responsible viewing in Bagong Pilipinas.
