Former Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto III continues to solidify his position as a top contender in the 2025 senatorial race, landing within the 1-2 ranking of preferred candidates in the latest Pulso ng Pilipino survey conducted by The Issues and Advocacy Center (The CENTER) from March 22 to 29, 2025.

The nationwide tracking poll, which surveyed 1,200 respondents, revealed a 100% awareness rating for Sotto and an impressive 56% voter preference—a clear indication of the enduring trust and confidence of the Filipino people in his leadership.

Sotto, who is seeking a historic fifth term in the Senate, expressed deep gratitude to the public for their continued support.

“Nakakataba ng puso na patuloy pa rin ang tiwala ng taumbayan. Sa bawat batas na naipasa natin, lagi nating isinasaalang-alang ang kapakanan ng bawat pamilyang Pilipino,” Sotto said.

As a four-term Senator, Sotto has never been marked absent nor late in any Senate session—even at the height of the pandemic. He also holds the distinction of having authored and sponsored 259 laws, a record regarded as unmatched in the history of the Philippine Senate.

“Hindi ito tungkol sa dami lang ng batas. Ito ay tungkol sa kalidad at epekto nito sa araw-araw na buhay ng mga tao—mula sa anti-drug abuse, public health, edukasyon, hanggang sa kabuhayan. Napatunayan na natin ito noon, at kaya pa natin ipagpatuloy,” Sotto added.

Sotto’s consistent top-tier ranking in national surveys is a reflection of his long-standing dedication to public service and legislative excellence.

As the campaign trail intensifies, the former Senate President commits to bringing experience, consistency, and concrete results back to the halls of the Senate.
