Mark Herras neither confirmed nor denied having a romantic relationship with businessman singer Jojo Mendrez save to say he is already used to people watching and talking about his every move.
"Kapag sinabi kong meron (kaming something ni Jojo), may masasabi (ang tao). Pag sinabi kong wala, may masasabi pa rin kaya let's just keep it like that---para may mystery," he said to that effect in an interview over the weekend.
It was just a few weeks ago when tongues started wagging after a stolen shot of Jojo and Mark together inside a casino circulated online.
Later, Jojo revealed they saw each other because Mark did a reaction video to the former's revival song "Somewhere In My Past."
Then, in a press conference tendered for Jojo, Mark suddenly showed up with a bouquet of flowers for the revival king as friendly "gesture of support."
Mark said while it's true that in showbiz "tulungan tayo," he stressed not having anything to do with Jojo also hanging out with fellow actor Rainier Castillo recently.
"Hindi ko sila pinakilala (sa isa't-isa) at hindi namin pinaguusapan (ni Rainier si Jojo)," Mark said. "Wala namang problema."
Recall that those who speculate something's afoot between Mark and Jojo, took it a step further by saying Mark might get "jealous" over the Rainier-Jojo sighting.
The rumors get even more interesting when it is pointed out that both Mark and Rainier came from and are actually batchmates on talent show "StarStruck" so many years ago.
But hold your horses, guys, Mark won't fan the flames but, more like, he'd just let the rumors die a natural death.
Besides, the actor can't complain. He is back in the headlines whether it's for good or bad publicity. Further, he is now doing three movies.
Mark is also about to move into his new house even
as he waits the arrival of another child.
Indeed, when it rains, it pours.
"Kaya di ako naaapektuhan sa intriga," he said. "Naging blessing pa nga sa akin."
