So that's why.

Ivana Alawi has been announced just few minutes ago as first house guest on "'Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition" where she was given several tasks upfront.

"Tinatanggap ko po," she said in accepting the challenge.

This brings us back few days prior when she held a thanksgiving party for media. As we were talking about her upcoming projects back then, we felt she was guarded; careful not to say too much. Normally, it would have been a chance for a celebrity to promote their projects but not that time for Ivana, so we thought.

Now comes this revelation and we finally understood why she did not want to preempt this career development. Her stint on the show is a big deal as "Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition" is a major collaboration between GMA Network and ABS-CBN in celebration of the show's 20th anniversary this year. 

Ivana enters the show with the moniker "Ang Phenomenal Content Queen ng Quezon City." As we write this, her entry to PBB is creating a strong buzz, enough for "Ivana" to chart high as trending topic on X. Congratulations!

At her thanksgiving party, Ivana also hinted that she will be doing a movis this year. Actually, the top online influencer will be so busy that expect her to be everywhere---except in the music scene.

See, when a colleague asked her if she plans to revive her, shall we say, "derailed" singing career (recall that she put out a single in 2020 titled "Sana All"), Ivana flat out said with a smile that she's realized it's not for her.
