Tamiya Philippine Cup 2025, a resounding success

Winners from among 900 participants in the Tamiya Philippine Cup 2025 were announced recently by event organizer Ferdie Kahn, who is the brand's official distributor and  owns The Brickyard.

The winners will compete in the international level to be held in Taiwan on June 2025, and also in Japan.

"For Taiwan, we’re supposed to bring at least 10 racers. So after the races, we will pick the champion. After that, we have a playoff to determine the remaining seats,” Kahn said. “We probably have six races. The first three go to Taiwan, and the next three go to Japan.”

In an interview with Ferdie at Circuit Manila on the first day of the event last March 1, he talked about the ever-growing popularity of Tamiya in the country among hobbyists, collectors and players.

He added that the Philippines will host the international competition in 2026.
