FAMAS Best Short Film awardee Gabby Ramos has his foot on the door leading to the morrow
"I believe short filmmakers are the future of Philippine cinema," he said at a recent interview.
And he is kicking that opening wide. Ramos is festival director of the 1st FAMAS Short Film Festival, organized by the Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences and presented by REMS Entertainment.
His winning short film is "Huling Sayaw ni Erlinda" released last year.
The director added short films are often overlooked, and they deserve more recognition.
