Thus said Federation of Filipino Chinese Chambers of Commerce and In Industry, Inc. (FFCCCII) President Dr. Cecilio K. Pedro to media when he led the Filipino at Tsino Magkaibigan Foundation on December 3 in distributing thousands of rice packs and clothes for fire calamity victims of Isla Puting Bato in Tondo district, Manila City.
Pedro underscored that while they have "dugong Tsino," their hearts are Filipino.

"Kami po ay tumutulong sa Pilipino at Pilipino kaming lahat," he said. "Ako'y pinanganak dito sa Pilipinas---at dito na rin siguro ako mamamatay. Ito ang bayan namin, Pilipinas."
The Filipino at Tsino Magkaibigan Foundation is comprised of 30 major Filipino Chinese business, civic and cultural federations led by the FFCCCII.
The multi-sectoral foundation also recently donated over P60 million worth of rice packs, sardines, noodles and other relief goods for flooded communities in Bicol region, different provinces and Metro Manila areas severely affected by six big typhoons in the last few weeks.
