"Linya" now streaming on Vivamax shines with an "expensive" look in that it could have been shot in Tokyo or Seoul or Bangkok and no one would know the difference.
We mentioned this to director Carlo Alvarez who beamed at our observation. He added that while "Linya" starring Cess Garcia, Sheila Snow, Anthony Davao, Chester Grecia and VJ Vera is as steamy as any Vivamax output, they made sure it's the story and acting that viewers will remember once the credits roll up.

The actors are also proud of their work---and rightfully so. When asked if they ever get turned on doing the sexy scenes, they admitted that while realism is important in delivering good work, this is always superseded by professionalism.

In "Linya," Cess Garcia plays Gia, a college dropout who now works at a coffee shop. Undeniably attractive and easy on the eyes, a lot of men get attracted to her, one of them is Cris (Anthony Davao), a co-worker and a very close companion. Gia also has a sexual relationship and unresolved feelings for Cris. Gia is also in a toxic relationship with a government official, Councilor Aries Guevarra (Chester Grecia), her sugar daddy. One night, after a stressful day at work, the staff at the coffee shop decide to have a drink and have a night out. Out of drunkenness and attraction towards each other, Cris and Gia desire to sleep together, but they need to be cautious because Councilor Guevarra has eyes and ears everywhere. It seems that Gia’s solution to her problems and having the things she wants is to use her sex appeal, and she gets better and better every day in doing it.
