Sheree |
Many of us know her as member of Viva Hot Babes back in the day, but there's more to Sheree than just singing and gyrating to the novelty hits "Kikay," "Bulaklak" and "Batuta ng Pulis."
Her other talents will come to fore on May 24 at the Music Museum via "L'Art de Sheree." Aside from singing and dancing , she will showcase her paintings and do a lot of pole dancing for which she started training in 2009.
Inspired by the Crazy Horse in Paris minus nudity, Sheree's solo concert is a mix of burlesque, theater and Cirque de Soleil with lots of "buwis-buhay" stunts, as she puts it at a recent press conference held at Five Private Dining.
In an interview with Rider PH Studios, Sheree said her show will also be about "women empowerment" in that the core message as she tells her story, her journey is for woman "to reach for her dreams and not be afraid to be herself including embracing sensuality."
"This show is the first of its kind in the Philippines," she promised.
Our interview also touched on the possibility of Viva Hot Babes reunion as well as possible collaboration with rising Ppop girl group Bini.
Sheree hopes to bring "L'art de Sheree" to the provinces, as well as touring the show in the U.S. and Canada.
