No less than prized Kapuso actress Lovi Poe joins the SCD family as seen at the company's Ignite grand event held at Subic Bay Convention Center in Zambales on May 3.
In an interview after her performance number, Lovi said she loves the company's products, specifically its line of sunscreen that empowers the consumer with options.
"May sunscreen gel, sunscreen with makeup, simpleng sunscreen...you choose what will serve your need," she said to that effect.
Lovi added that she enjoys being with the SCD family and that she learns a lot from its CEO, Gracee Angeles.
"She really cares for mga kasama niya sa SCD. Kaya nag-blossom ang kumpanya it's because of her love for the people."
Asked to describe the SCD woman, Lovi said she is someone who uplifts others by making sure beauty is shared with everyone.
Earlier, Gracee addressed the guests with inspiring words about the company and its products.
"We not only have affordable and quality products, but I want to give opportunities to others through our company," she said.
"I want them to obtain a better quality of living, to have a more pleasant life; to create a secure future, to create a family where everyone thrives."
Gracee bankrolled the grand event so her people would remember how far they've come amid trials, and to celebrate their success that comes from burning passion. The party saw cash prizes as big as half million raffled off to lucky attendees.
"This is a gathering of family," she said, looking at the audience. "This is an encouragement to raise our morals, to continue improving, to spark the fire within all of us."
Also gracing the event is her business partner Boss Toyo, who happens to be an SCD endorser along with singer Sassa Dagdag. Celebrity Maui Taylor also attended the event in support of Gracee. Michael Pangilinan serenaded the crowd.
Gracee revealed the secret of her success using the acronym MOVE.
"M is for motivation. Having motivation gives us the ability to overcome any hardship we may enocunter.
"O is for obedience. We have policies in our company and its important that we all abide.
"V is for veracity. Truthfulness makes problems easier to solve because it's easier to communicate.
"And E, endurance. There will be challenges but we must endure as well. That is simply what life is."
