Baby Go ventures into wellness business with Thai Relax Massage

Movie producer Baby Go owns several successful businesses so she knows how important down time is to mind, body and soul especially of the workaholic.

During the opening of her new "baby," the Thai Relax Massage in Pasic City early this week, she confessed to be a massage junkie. Back in the day, and for the longest time, Madame Go (as showbiz insiders fondly call her) get a massage three, four times weekly.

"Kailangan ding mag-relax ang katawan for long life," she said. "At para healthy tayo."

Thai Relax Massage has 12 rooms so it can accommodate even a spa party. It is open from 2 p.m. to 2 a.m. daily. It offers several kinds of legitimate massage services and then some. Several celebrities have already gone there and tried the massage, most recently award-winning actor Allen Dizon.

Go said she was inspired to open Thai Relax Massage by one of the masseuse who overcame trials in life. Actually, many, if not all, of the therapists in the spa come from the province. The owner said she wants to give them the opportunity to make it in the big city so she doesn't mind even if she paid for their fare to get here.

The entrepreneur has produced no less than 17 movies, some of which have won awards abroad. She is about to hold a premiere of her latest venture titled "AbeNida" under BG Productions International.
