Dr. Rob Walcher, Patricia Javier celebrate success of their wellness clinic

Dr. Rob Walcher and Patricia Javier

Dr. Rob Walcher and Patricia Javier are too blessed to be stressed over detractors of their flourishing Doc Rob & Associates Chiropractic Wellness Clinic with branches in Quezon City, Alabang, Makati, Cavite and Pampanga.

"Feeling ko inggit lang," said Patricia of their bashers at a recent press conference held at Windmills & Rainforest in celebration of their decade-old clinic in the Philippines. "You can't please everybody. Wag na lang basahin, wag na lang basta maniwala."

She refers to naysayers who throw shade at them on social media, claiming that chiropractic, in general, is "not safe."

According to the company website, chiropractic is an alternative medical system in that the practitioner takes a different approach from conventional medicine in diagnosing, classifying, and treating medical problems. Chiropractic focuses on the relationship between the body’s structure – primarily that of the spine – and the body’s function. Doctors of chiropractic use hands-on therapy called manipulation (or adjustment) as their core procedure.

"This leads to cutting back on prescription drugs, preventing the need for surgery, and slowing down the ageing process. Those who benefit from chiropractic treatments look at it as an important part of their ongoing health maintenance, similar to that of regular exercise or visiting their local health spa. They now know the difference – how they felt before chiropractic treatments and how much better they feel now," part of the information read.

Dr. Rob reiterates that he has an active license from The Philippine Institute of Traditional and Alternative Health Care under the umbrella of the Department of Health.

The clinic's celebrity clients include Amy Perez, Coco Martin, Empoy Marquez, Vice Ganda, Karla Estrada, Derek Ramsey, Kris Lawrence, and Ara Mina, who even attended the press conference to celebrate with and put in a good word for Rob and Patricia.

Patricia noted that some of their bashers go as far as scheduling appointments with them but not showing up. Some even illegally use their names and likeness on social media to discredit them.

To these, Dr. Rob simply points to their clinic's success, humbly turning the other cheek by saying, "We're doing something right."

The two also used the occasion to launch Immune Boost, said to help in immune function and manage stress for over-all well-being.

Some of the health concerns that chiropratic can help are 'low back pain, neck pain, frozen shoulders, headachs, migraine, scoliosis, sciatica, tendonitis, slipped disc, carpal tunnel, vertigo, stress, colic babies, ear infection, hypertension and hormonal imbalance,"
