The second season of the Viva One adaptation of The University Series "Safe Skies, Archer" by Gwy Saludes has won even more fans and made Jerome Ponce and Krissha Viaje love team to watch out for.

Baptized by fans as KrisshRome, the love team has gained a lot of followers during the run of SSA and fans are very eager to see more of the two in the succeeding seasons as well as new projects.

A recent back-to-back signing event for both Jerome Ponce and Krissha Viaje solidifies their commitment with Viva under the artist management of VAA in producing more projects, both as a love team and as individual artists. They also took the opportunity to thank all the fans who support them, specially since

the success of the series has opened more windows of opportunity.

Jerome, who officially signed with VAA in 2023, went straight to filming for his projects, proving that he is a fast-rising and bankable young leading man. Starting with Martyr or Murderer (2023) playing the young Ninoy Aquino, to several TV series projects including an episode of the romance anthology series "For the Love" (2023), "Kung hindi lang tayo sumuko" (2023) with Coleen Garcia and Carlo Aquino, "Roadkillers" (2023) with Nadine Lustre, and of course his launching series with love team partner Krissha Viaje in SSA. Not to mention his upcoming movie with Jasmine Curtis-Smith and Diego Loyzaga, "A Glimpse of Forever" which is hitting theaters this March 6.

Krissha’s role as Yanna in SSA gave the budding young actress an opportunity to further hone her acting skills. The show has also showcased her talent in singing, having sung one of the OSTs of the series,  "Payapang Alapaap. 

Prior to her landing the lead role for SSA, Krissha has appeared in several projects

including an episode of "For the Love," horror movie "Mary Cherry Chua" (2023), thriller "Greed" (2022), and the first season of The University Series, "The Rain in España" (2023). Her launch in SSA as a lead opened new possibilities for the young actress’ career.

Aside from appearing in the succeeding seasons of The University Series, fans of KrisshRome better watch out as well for their upcoming horror series, "Sem Break" exclusively on Viva One, a genre that can potentially further their chemistry as a love team. The series will also see the return of some members of the Univerkada of The University Series. Watch out for Sem Break this coming May 2024.
