More than having another endorsement deal under her belt, actress Rhen Escano is glad to be part of the CC6 Online Casino family that has been helping people all over the country through feeding programs, medical missions and countless donations to certain local institutions.
"Naglaro ka na, naaliw ka, nagka chance manalo ng pera---nakatulong ka pa," she quipped on why she accepted the offer.
In fact, this February which marks the company's third anniversary, Rhen announced that CC6 will be giving away a total of 10 billion pesos in cash and kind to its members (6,000 active users daily and counting) and to charity.
The actress revealed that she weighed many considerations before signing the dotted line such as who owns CC6 and where the money of players goes.
"Feeling ko may purpose kaya tinanggap ko."
During the interview, Rhen, whose career is on upward trajectory with many projects due out this year, revealed discovering a New Year's superstitious belief that she thinks helped her snag the endorsement deal.
"Nabasa ko lang kasi somewhere na pampabuenas daw sa bagong taon yung maglagay ka ng folded money bill sa phone mo bago sumapit ang midnight," she said to that effect.
The actress recalled not being able to pick up the call the first time her co-manager, Aster Amoyo, wanted to tell her about it.
"Nasa taping kasi ako non ng 'Can't Buy Me Love,'" she said. "But I knew it was important kasi my manager sent a message saying, 'I have something big for you.'"
Rhen reminds casino players, whether online or physical, to have the "disicipline" of knowing when to stop.
"Pag alam mong wala ng magandang maitutulong sa atin, stop na muna," she pointed out. 'Parang drinking yan, it has to be done in moderation."
The actress likened falling in love to making bets in that "ang pag-ibig din ay parang sugal" because you really can't be sure of the outcome.
