Ara Mina is set to do a movie in 2024 that she thinks will have viewers guessing how the story would end---just the way the actress likes it.

She said so at the story conference of "Ang Babaeng Ayaw Mamatay," a period action-drama from Indieng-Indie Production starring Jana Dee, who is also co-producing the movie. Ara said that at this point in her career, she wants to do a movie that would "challenge" her and she is confident she found that here.

Ara has no qualms playing support role to Jana. The former pointed out that she was once a beginner and now it is her turn to also help those who are like her in the beginning.

At the beginning of the story conference, "Ang Babaeng Ayaw Mamatay" director Ron Sapinoso humbly stated that he is not "tutored" in filmmaking. He said that despite this, he has "heart" for the craft, something he believes serves him well.

 Ara agrees.

"Minsan nagiging routine na  ang pag gawa ng pelikula kaya nawawala ang puso," she pointed out. "I want to do a film na iba ang atake."

"Sometimes pag masyadong skillful or set in your ways ang director, parang de kahon na o robot ang kinalalabasan, hindi na natural...

"Nakikita ko ang puso kay direk Ron at importante yon. Pag may puso ko, nararamdaman ng audience yon kaya nga na to touch tayo (sa story)."

Ron also wrote "Ang Babaeng Ayaw Mamatay" with story that centers on Luna (played by Jana Dee) who is behind bars. Every six months, Doctor Helen (Ara Mina) infuses Luna with fresh blood. Why? You would have to watch the movie to find out.

Set to start shooting this January, the movie also has in the cast the following actors: Jackielou Blanco, Deborah Sun, Simon Ibarra, Victor Silayan, Shirley Favis, Nathaniel Perez, Marvic Quilloy,Gerladine Aleria,Raph Decena, Dana Varona, Julian Roxas, Mohaira, Reorey, and Diego Salvador.

The movie is set during the Japanese Occupation in the 1940s.
