They have never had a movie or TV series together but surely Ara Mina and Piolo Pascual are very good friends so she had no problem inviting him to appear as guest on 'Magandang ARAw!' with pilot episode airing on NET25 on July 15 from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m
At the press conference tendered for the show, the actress, already considered an icon in her own way in show business, revealed that Piolo's appearance on the show holds lot of surprises as viewers will learn things about him that only a good friend can "extract" from another.
Actually, Ara has been wanting to do something like "Magandang ARAw" for the longest time. However, things only fell into place recently, especially with the help of Wilma Galvante who had believed in the actress from day one, way back in the '90s when Ara burst onto the scene.
While the actress is known for her dramatic and sometimes sexy roles, she shows different sides of her in the talk show/TV magazine program. Ara is especially proud of "Magandang ARAw" as she has free hand in running it---from conceptualization to sometimes even to execution of some of her ideas. She doesn't mind working harder than she should though, saying that there are times she would still think of the days' work when she gets home, then again the following day!
One of the friendliest, sincere and most accommodating Filipino actresses bar none, Ara took the time to thank the media who attended her press conference. She credits them for her longevity in the businesses, even as she advised young actors to be grateful and show appreciation to entertainment journalists.
Also welcoming Ara's show on NET25 is no less than top honcho, Mr. Caesar Vallejos. Ara was accompanied to the event by her husband, Dave Almarinez, and her daughter, Amanda Gabrielle.
