'Kuya, The Gov. Edwin Jubahib Story' promises to be an inspiring, empowering offering

Cameras have started rolling for the biopic "Kuya: The Gov. Edwin Jubahib Story" being directed by Jun Posadas with award-wining actor Richard Quan in the title role.

Leandro Baldemor

Jubahib is the current governor of Davao Del Norte. With no political background, he was a former janitor, farmer, vegetables vendor and bus conductor before finishing engineering. After working as personal assistant of congressman and former speaker Pantaleon Alvarez, he ran for public service in 2019, toppling the so-called political dynasty in the region.

Christian Vasquez

Former Isabela Congressman Arnel Ty is the executive producer of "Kuya," with Raymond Ngan as line producer, and screenplay by Henry Nadong
