New celebrities and media production outfit off to grand start

Big things start from small beginnings.

That's what many of the attendees thought of the recent launch of Gutierez Celebrities and Media Production. Held at the Sm North Edsa Skydome,the outfit handles celebrities and social media influencers, produces high-quality shows and conducts film and event productions, training and workshops.

Some of its upcoming shows this year were revealed. These include the movies "Jeongbu" and "A Lasting Love To Remember;" the series "The Lifesavers" and "Love Bound;" and noontime show "Stan Party." The creatives and talents of these content came in force led by actor Aljur Abrenica and director Topel Lee.

A short interview with Aljur had him gushing over the project.

"First time ko gumawa ng horror so I'm excited," he said. "Hindi siya the usual movie of the genre kundi may touches of Korean na hinalo si direk dito."

He spoke highly of leading lady Ritz Asul, saying that she raised the bar as far as acting in local horror movies go in that her dramatic prowess was still evident especially in key scenes. Aljur not only looks forward to working with her again, but in other projects that Gutierez Celebrities and Media Production might offer him.

Topel added of "Jeongbu":  "We shot the movie during pandemic, in Baguio. It's good that the two had time to do this since parehong clear ang schedule nila, so we were able to spend 10 days on location for our locked-in shoot."

Aljur, who is in the news recently because of his girlfriend AJ Raval's posts about them, refused to talk about the issue, claiming he doesn't know anything about it. He also only said that he and Kylie Padilla continue to talk about the welfare of their children as they "co-parent" them.

Gutierez Celebrities and Media Production honcho MJ Gutierez said that being the new kid in the block, so to speak, they are collaborative and willing to learn from and with their partners. In closing the event, MJ thanked their sponsors AllTV, Sm North Edsa, New Placenta Psalmstre, Perfume Dessert, Nido, Camaya Coast, CDO Karne Norte and Fraganto.

Aside from media, VIPS and representatives of government officials, some of the talents and TikTokers that Gutierez Celebrities and Media Productions handles, added sparkle to the night's proceedings.
