On April 22, Imee and Borgy go all out at some of Binondo’s most iconic restaurants and food stores as they sample the finest Chinese dishes in Manila’s old Chinatown – from an out-of-this-world breaded porkchop meal to the most delectable dimsum, to creamy custard desserts to amazing noodles from a famous panciteria that holds a very significant place in their family’s history.
“Borgy and I have been meaning to check out Ramon Lee Panciteria for the longest time because it was one of my dad’s favorite restaurants,” says Imee. “I’m so happy now that I am able to visit the place with Borgy and I am so excited to share the experience with my YouTube viewers.”
The adventure continues on April 23 as the mother-and-son duo takes a special tour of Destileria Limtuaco Museum in Intramuros as they try the most loved and best-selling beverages of the oldest existing distillery in the country.
“I’m a huge fan of locally made products and Destileria Limtuaco tops my list when it comes to liquor,” says Imee. “Buy local and support local – this has always been my advocacy. I am so proud to say that the Philippines truly has the best food and beverage products that are absolutely world-class.”
