VMX Crush (Viva's MaXimum Crush)
“Taya”, the psychedelic, erotic-thriller movie that premiered on Vivamax last Friday, August 27th, is currently on the number 1 spot of Vivamax’s Top 10 Content of the Week, and it won’t be surprising if it doesn’t budge from its position any time soon. After all, this movie by director Roman Perez Jr. started so strong, being the all-time record holder for single day views on Vivamax! What a remarkable success indeed for lead stars Sean De Guzman and AJ Raval, together with rap artist Pio Balbuena and newcomers Angeli Khang and Jela Cuenca.
In the film, Winona, Nieves, and Nanette are the hot and sexy prizes up for grabs in the basketball online ending game. Jela Cuenca, Angeli Khang, and AJ Raval are blazing hot in their respective roles, thus, each of them is now introduced as “VMX Crush” which means Viva’s MaXimum Crush.
Winona is Jela, who signed up with Viva in March 2021, admitted in Taya’s pre-showing press con that she was surprised to have such a bold role as her first movie project ever. But the workshops and genuine care she received from her director and co-stars made her comfortable in giving it her all.
Turning 23 on September 19th, she hails from Bayawan City, Negros Oriental. Because of her dream to enter showbiz, she did various modeling gigs and joined pageants in her province, until she was discovered by her present manager during a photo shoot.
Jela is grateful for all the advice given to her by her co-star and friend, AJ Raval. She is willing to learn because she wants to prove herself as an actress and to stay in this industry to help her family. She also wants people to know that behind her sexy and alluring persona is a simple girl who is not a snob and can adjust to any situation.
Nieves, portrayed by half-Korean beauty, Angeli Khang, is hired to feed Sixto’s sexual desires with an intent to destroy him. Angeli describes her character as confident, friendly, seductive and goal-oriented, the kontrabida among the three girls. For Angeli, the seductive and clever side of Nieves makes her crushable and desirable.
Angeli, who just turned 20 last August 3rd, was doing cosplay and modeling before she became a Viva artist in October 2020. She is grateful for being part of “Taya” and for what Viva has in store for her.
Last, but definitely not the least, “Taya” can’t be this year’s “pinakasugapang pelikula” without AJ Raval as Nanette, the girl Sixto won as a prize.
Since she was introduced in “Paglaki Ko, Gusto Kong Maging Pornstar” in January, AJ has been on a roll in doing sexy roles. In April, she was officially launched in “Death of A Girlfriend”, a film by Yam Laranas. Another 3 months later, in July, she co-starred in “Nerisa” where her chemistry with Sean De Guzman was established.
AJ always has something new to reveal in every project she does – be that in acting or baring skin. This prompts Direk Roman to say that AJ Raval is now the queen of sexy films! In spite of this, AJ said during “Taya” presscon, “hindi ko naman po nafi-feel na ako ang fantasy ng bayan”. This Libra woman, born on September 30, 1995, doesn’t let success get into her head.
Being the daughter of Jeric Raval, AJ knows that she is carrying the name of her father, and she wants to make him proud just as she is proud of him. Her screen name actually stands for “Anak ni Jeric”. “Honestly, I joined showbiz to become an action star, just like my father,” says AJ. “But life has a different path for me, and so far, everything is doing fine.”
This multi-talented woman also sings. “In fact, I already recorded a song along with my brother. And we recorded it under Viva Records,” she further shares. As she makes her own mark in the entertainment industry, AJ promises to keep on listening to her directors and continue learning. All her co-actors only have good words about how helpful she is and how she makes them feel at ease in any given situation.
AJ Raval, Angeli Khang, and Jela Cuenca are all beautiful young women who do extremely sensual things in “Taya”, but inside each of them is a heart of just like any girl who wants to do good, achieve their dreams, and be respected just as they give respect to everyone. Viva made no mistake in betting on them. Each of them is truly crushable, deserving to be called VMX Crush.
Stream “Taya” on Vivamax and see how Viva’s MaXimum Crush AJ Raval, Angeli Khang, and Jela Cuenca give Sixto a mind-blowing experience. Jackpot si Boy! Just like him, you can feel like you’ve hit the jackpot, too!
