Rhian Ramos on cloud nine at 'Miss Probinsyana' screening

Rhian Ramos and Sam Verzosa

On a high from getting rave reviews for her performance in a current project on a streaming platform, actress Rhian Ramos attended the recent "Miss Probinsyana" screening at Robinson's Galleria like the leading lady that she is----in the arms of boyfriend Sam Verzosa.

The two were pressed to divulge if they already hear wedding bells.

"Syempre the reason we're together ay nakikita namin yun sa future namin," she allowed. "It's just that at the moment, walang near future plan na ganon but I'm sure eventually..."

Asked if she has a dream wedding in mind, the actress shook her head.

"The whole time growing up. I never had an idea of a dream wedding," she said. "For me, it's not about what I'm wearing (on that day) or what the place looks like; just that the most important people (to us) will be there..."

The only destination she wants to reach is a place where they can call theirs as a "good relationship."

"It's the only thing that matters."

Sam, of course, is all out in his support for Rhian and "Miss Probinsyana." The Frontrow founder said  he will sponsor several block screenings for the movie which will be toured in select cities around the country before it opens in theaters nationwide on Aug. 7.

"When the World Met Miss Probinsyana" is based on the life of Marjorie Avisa, the CEO of Telework PH, President of Global Impact Production and Executive Producer of the movie.

"It's about kung paano nagiging limited ang options with work and education and all of that kapag lumaki ka sa probinsya. Before doing this movie, there are so many untold stories na hindi rin ako aware kung gaano ka-limited ang options outside of the main cities like Manila, Cebu or Davao. Hindi ako aware na para bang ito lang ang options mo for the future, It's also like you're not free to dream. I hope a lot of women watch this and fear not the freedom of whatever they dream of," Rhian was quoted to have said in an ABSCBNnews.com article.

Completing the cast are Sid Lucero, Lance Raymundo, James Marco, Joshua Zamora, Camille Rose, Jyra de Guzman, Kristin Abbey, Kristal Luistro, Ayah Sarmiento, Rowie Cardona, Drago Cruz Munoz, Mabel Reyes, Janina Lorelei, Julien Antonuccio, Sarah Ansari, Stephan Anderson, Aaron Hewson and Hamsa Omar.

"Miss Probinsyana" screenplay is written by Eligio Ninalga Jr and JP NInalga.
