Fiesta in America to captivate audiences with business and cultural expo at American Dream

Like in previous editions, Fiesta in America 2024 will be a spectacular showcase of Philippine islands, talks, entertainment and fashion at American Dream in New Jersey on Aug. 17 and 18 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

American Dream is the second largest retail and entertainment complex  in the U.S. Some 10,000 Filipino Americans are expected to attend the expo and an additional 60,000 visitors in overall traffic.

"Our primary focus is to empower family businesses to thrive and generate revenue from out vibrant community of attendees," said Fernando Mendez, CEO and President of Fiesta in America.

At a recent press conference held at Romulo's Cafe in Manila, Philippines, Mendez announced that the main performers this year are "American Idol" runner-up Jessica Sanchez, "Global Pinoy Idol" champ Shane Ericks and Prince of Teleserye Theme Songs Bryan Termulo. 

There will also be a fashion show by acclaimed "Fashion Week" designer Carl Andrada, featuring Philippine-inspired designs celebrating the rich heritage and modern aesthetics of the Philippines.


Fiesta in America collaborates with the Manila International Film Festival this year by having a special screening of historical drama film "Jose Rizal"  in New York City on Aug. 15.

Attendees will have the opportunity to explore breathtaking vacation destinations across the Philippines, including Angeles City, Mati, Davao Oriental, and Zamboanga City. This year's destination partner is Siargao Island with the city government partnering with Siargao Bleu Resort & Spa highlighting the offer.

"Fiesta Dream Talks" at Sky Suites will have topics that range from investing in the Philippines to tourism trends nd retirement tips. 


In collaboration with Filipino healthcare organizations and NJ Health, Fiesta in America will offer free healthcare screenings, emphasizing the importance of health within the community.

Now on its 27th year, Fiesta in America is an annual event dedicated to showcasing the rich cultural heritage and entrepreneurial spirit of both the Filipino American community and visiting Philippine organizations. Through trade fairs, cultural performances and business talks, Fiesta in America aims to inspire and empower Filipino Americans while promoting the Philippines as prime destination for tourism and investment.
